My name is Jamal Strayhand I am 16 years old. I am competing for the Corona Del sol track and field team, and fortunately for me I was invited with other teammates to compete in Nike Outdoor Nationals, which is a meet with Hundreds of different teams across the country. In my case I plan on competing in the 4x400, and SMR (Sprint Medley Relay), which will be on 6/19 & 6/22. The events will be held at the Hayward Field, University of Oregon.

Goal: I am striving towards being able to afford this opportunity by asking fellow friends and family members and anyone else who is kind enough.

I am looking at around $1,000 to comfortably fly out and back, and stay 3 nights out in Oregon with my team at an Airbnb.

I love the sport, and I love the team so it is a big deal to me because I put so much effort into my training. I love God, and I thank him for another season with the team.
