Help Jamaica Recover After Hurricane Melissa

Friends and family,

My parents currently reside in Duncans Bay, Jamaica. Their community is still without running water and electricity. If you know me, then you know I often joke about the giving heart of my mother. She never neglects to pack a barrel of things that she wants to take to Jamaica, more often for others than for herself.

My heart is heavy watching the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. Many communities, especially in rural areas, are facing significant losses of homes, crops, and basic supplies.

My parents are currently in Jamaica, and this is a place my family and I love and cherish deeply. For us, Jamaica isn’t just a beautiful island, it’s our family's home. Seeing the devastation there has been painful, but I know the strength and resilience of the Jamaican people run deep.
