Hurricane Melissa Relief for Jamaica — Emergency Support Needed

️ A Nation in Crisis
Hurricane Melissa, a catastrophic Category 5 storm, has devastated Jamaica. Entire communities have been washed away. Homes, roads, schools, clinics, and essential infrastructure are gone. Many families are still without food, clean water, medical supplies, electricity, or safe shelter, and countless parishes remain cut off from support.
For us, this is not just a tragedy we’re watching from afar —
this is home. This is family. This is deeply personal.

✈️ Deployment Timeline: Serving Jamaica Through Thanksgiving and Beyond
During the next few days through Thanksgiving and into the weeks that follow, Natalie will be formally deployed with Doctors Without Borders / International Medical Relief. This mission places her directly on the ground during the highest-need phase of the crisis — when families are most vulnerable and communities are struggling to survive with little to no support.
Her deployment will take her into:
• Severely devastated parishes
• Overwhelmed shelters
• Remote areas cut off by washed-out roads
• Communities where people have not yet seen relief
• Locations where medical care and basic supplies have collapsed
While many prepare to gather with loved ones for Thanksgiving, Natalie will be serving Jamaican families who have lost everything.
Robert will join the mission at a later date, traveling to Jamaica once his schedule and arrangements allow. When he arrives, he will expand the mission’s reach by supporting:
• Logistics
• Supply distribution
• Community outreach
• Hands-on assistance in shelters and high-need areas
His presence will strengthen ongoing relief operations and allow vital resources to reach more families.

Why This Mission Matters
Jamaica is our homeland — the place that raised us, shaped us, and grounded our identity. But Jamaica is also a place the world loves.
Millions travel to Jamaica every year to enjoy our beaches, music, culture, food, mountains, and unmatched hospitality. Tourism is the heartbeat of the island — a source of pride for Jamaicans and joy for visitors.
But now, the same land people return to year after year for its beauty and warmth is severely storm-ravaged.
Beaches, guesthouses, craft markets, fishing villages, and treasured cultural areas have been destroyed. The places tourists cherish — and the places we call home — are unrecognizable.
We want to help rebuild these spaces so:
• Those who love Jamaica can return
• Those who have never visited can experience its magic
• Communities whose livelihoods depend on tourism can stand again
This mission is not only about survival —
it is about restoration, dignity, and the rebirth of a nation loved worldwide.
How You Can Help
You can make a powerful difference by:
• Donating whatever you can
• Sharing this campaign far and wide
• Encouraging your church, workplace, or community organization to support
• Keeping the people of Jamaica in your prayers
Your support travels with us directly into the hardest-hit communities.
Deepest Gratitude
Thank you for standing with Jamaica.
Thank you for helping us bring hope, strength, and stability to families who are hurting.
Thank you for showing our island that she is not forgotten.
One Love. One Jamaica. Together we rise.
