Jamaica needs help. We are still waiting to hear from family members. The news says there's phone service, but only if you have the right equipment. The food and water are being rationed if you have the money to buy it. Most homes have structural damage, roofs missing, and all the vegetation on people's properties is wiped out. The hospitals are overrun. The schools are damaged. We've been struggling with how to help. We still can't confidently tell you who to donate to. So, we've decided to make this GoFundMe page and hope you trust us to get your money to the people who need it.
My sister-in-law is getting a barrel of food to send down, but it'll take 3-4 weeks. I know you've been asking how you can help. If you trust and have confidence that your donation will get to those we know need help, then please donate here. If it doesn’t feel right and you still want to donate, you will have to do the research. I’m sorry we don’t know what foundations to recommend.
No matter what you do, thank you for checking in on our family. We appreciate the love. The next few months or more in Jamaica are going to be horrible, and we hope we can make a difference. - ♡ One Love
