Hello, my name is Paul Neal. Many of you know me as a friend, colleague, or former Lawrence basketball coach. though I've lived in the united states for many years, Jamaica will always be my home. I was born and raised there until I moved to the U.S at 15-- surrounded by the love, laughter, and strength of a Jamaican community that taught me what resilience and faith truly mean.

Today, that same community is hurting. A powerful hurricane has swept through Jamaica, leaving behind destruction and heartbreak. Homes have been washed away, families displaced, and many are struggling to just to find clean water, food, and shelter. I still have a home there, and hearing from friends and loved ones who have lost so much has been devastating.

Those who know me know I've always tried to help others quietly. But today, for the first time, I'm asking for help-- not for myself, but for my country and my people. Jamaica gave me roots. It shaped the man I am today. Over the years, I've built a life here in the Merrimack Valley-- finishing school, working hard, and being blessed to be part of such a caring community. Now it's time for me to give back to where it all began.

I'm raising funds to help rebuild lives and restore hopes for families in Jamaica affected by this storm. Every dollar will go directly towards providing food, clean water, clothing, and materials to help rebuild homes and communities.

If you know me, you know how deeply I love my island and my people. This isn't just about rebuilding structures-- it's about rebuilding lives, dignity, and hope.
