Hello. My name is Jala Carter . I’m a teacher and my fiancé Elton is a security guard and local football coach. My family of 6 has been displaced due to a multi family fire. More than 24 houses are no longer livable . My family lost our home , and everything inside . Unfortunately we did not have renters insurance . We are in the process of figuring out relocation. With school starting all of our clothes and furniture. We are so happy to be alive . We are asking for help to get back on our feet . We lost nearly everything . Whatever you can will help. Please pray for my family in this time. This is so unfortunate and life can change in an instant . This is going to be a huge change for us but I know there is blessings coming in after this. We do understand this is a hard time financially for a lot of Americans. We’d love resources as well! You’d be a blessing to us as well as our children. We love our community and are so grateful to be surrounded by so many people who care!
