Hello, my name is Daniel, and I am 17 years old. This year, I want to fundraise for a personal cause; to support my cousin Jako, who lives with disability.

Jako became severely disabled as a baby, following a near death experience when he was only a few months old. As a result, he never had the chance to live the life that we often take for granted. Despite almost impossible odds he is now 37 years old. His family have shown an extraordinary amount of love, resilience, and devotion in caring for him over the years, but the burden of his medical and personal care continues to grow, becoming increasingly challenging.

This is why we need your help.

Jako is in the full-time care of the Ebenhaeser House in Worcester, South Africa. Over the years, the institution has provided support to many less fortunate individuals and remain committed to improving the lives of individuals with complex disabilities.

My goal is to raise £10 000, which will support his ongoing medical care needs, with all funds raised going to this cause. As part of the fundraising effort, my dad and I will be undertaking a cycling challenge on 18 October 2025. We aim to cycle from the West to the East coast of the United Kingdom, covering over 330 kilometres.
