Help Jake's Dog Indy Get Life-Saving Surgery

Hi, my name is Jake and this fundraiser is for my dog Indy. Indy is a 7 year old English Setter and he has a brother named Mookie who’s his best friend. Indy loves running around outside and eating everything in sight!

Last summer Indy developed a fatty tumor on his chest that wasn’t of concern at first, but over time it has grown to the size of a basketball. His day to day life hasn’t changed. He still plays outside with his brother and eats all his treats. The tumor has just grown so large that he needs to have surgery to get it removed. I brought him to an emergency vet and the expense for his surgery isn’t affordable for me. He is overall a healthy dog and this is heartbreaking for me that the price for the vet is more than I have. The estimate of his CT scan and surgery is over $10,000 so I’m trying to raise enough for the rest of the cost that I can’t cover.

I got Indy and Mookie with my dad a few years before he passed away and he loved Indy and Mookie. After my dad passed away my main goal in life was to make sure those two dogs lived out their best lives because that’s what my dad did for them. Knowing Indy has been completely healthy outside of him having this huge tumor is heartbreaking because I don’t have enough money to pay for his surgery.

Indy’s life depends on this surgery so any size donation helps get my good boy what he needs! I just want to give him the best shot to extend his life and I honestly never thought I would be in a position to make a go fund me for anything, but that’s how desperate I am to see Indy get the help he needs. He’s a great boy and deserves a second chance at a longer life and with help from donations we can get that for him.
