Earlier this year, our mother suffered a life-threatening stroke. It was a devastating and terrifying experience, but we are grateful to share that she is now on the path to recovery. With the support of our community, we were able to secure the care she needed, and for that we are deeply thankful.

However, during this time, both my sister and I had to step away from our jobs to care for her. As a result, we lost our primary sources of income. We’ve done our best to make ends meet, but after months of juggling bills and responsibilities, we’ve reached a point where we need to ask for help once again.

We are fundraising to cover the living expenses and bills that have piled up over the summer so we can stay afloat as we continue to support our mom through her recovery and look for new employment.
