Hello everyone,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart but also with hope. Our family pet, Jake, our small Chihuahua with the biggest personality, has recently been discovered to have a fractured jaw. Jake has been a constant source of love, laughter, and companionship for our whole family, especially my mami. Now, Jakey needs our help to fight this battle and get back to the life he deserves.

Jake's diagnosis came as a shock. After noticing he was bleeding from his mouth unexpectedly we took him to the vet. They revealed that the blood was coming from his fractured bone that had painfully penetrated his gums. He also revealed that little Jake had multiple fistulas in his mouth. The good news is that with prompt treatment, including surgery there’s a strong chance Jakey can beat this! However, the costs of his treatment is unaffordable for my mami and I.

Why We Need Your Help

Jake’s treatment plan includes:

Initial diagnostic tests: $78

Surgery to treat his jaw + fistula's : $4000

Post-surgery care and medications: $1,000

Follow-up appointments and monitoring: $500

The estimated total is $5,580. Unfortunately, as much as we want to give Jakey the care he needs, this amount is way beyond our financial capacity. That’s why we’re turning to the kindness of friends, family, and animal lovers like you to help us save our little Jake.

About Jake

Jake is more than just a pet; he’s an integral part of our family. Jakey loves to curl up under a warm blanket, running through freshly cut grass, and hes just as fierce as his (big) baby brother. He protects the house and always makes sure to greet us with a little dance whenever we get home. Jake is a fighter, and we know he has so much more life and love to give.
