Jake is a 2-year-old French Bulldog who deserved better than the start he got. When he came to us, he was overweight, not neutered, and heartworm positive—things that should have been taken care of long ago. Despite everything, Jake is sweet, trusting, and full of life. He’s now getting the medical care he needs, including heartworm treatment, neuter surgery, and help getting back to a healthy weight.

Jake’s journey hasn’t been easy, but his spirit is unbreakable. Every day, he shows us how much love and joy he has to give, even after all he’s been through. Watching him wag his tail and greet everyone with a big smile reminds us why we’re fighting so hard for his recovery. The costs for his care are adding up quickly, from vet visits and medications to special food and follow-up treatments. But giving up on him isn’t an option—he deserves a real chance at a happy, healthy life.
