I’m Julian and I started this GoFundMe in order to help raise funds for a coworker of mine who will be racing in the upcoming Boston Marathon on behalf of his father, who was re-diagnosed with prostate cancer. He’s required to raise a certain number of funds which will then be donated to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston prior to his race in April 2026.

His name is Jake, he is also a veteran, and long distance running has long been a passion of his. I don’t know his father, but I do know that he’s played a big role in Jake’s life, making him who he is today: a driven young construction manager with a big heart and even bigger lungs!

So this is me letting Jake know that he’s got my support through an unfortunate round two of what most of us know could be a grueling, lengthy process and fight.
