Help Jake raise money for Brain Tumour Research

Brain tumours are one of the commonest causes of cancer related death in adults and children. Despite its high incidence and decades of research, we still don't understand the science of why most people get brain tumours, which makes it difficult to advance treatment. High grade brain tumours currently have an extremely poor prognosis, with an average life expectancy of approximately 14 months with treatment.
Everyday I work with patients who are affected by brain tumours, and I witness the devastation it has on their lives and the lives of their families. I want to try to make a difference for these people.
I will be running the Coastal High 50km trail race on November 28th. I want to use this event as a platform to try raise money for brain tumour research. The organisation 100% of the money will be donated to, will be the South Australian Neurological Tumour Bank. This organisation focuses on research for advancing our understanding of brain tumours and treatment targets.
Please help me make a difference to this important cause and something that is very close to my heart.
