Help Jake Heal & Return to Music

My name is Jake, and music has always been at the heart of my life. As a teacher and performer, I’ve dedicated myself to sharing the joy of music with others. Recently, however, my world has changed dramatically. I am facing multi-dimensional diabetes, deep vein thrombosis syndrome, and an infectious lung disease. Just before New Year's Eve 2025-2026, I was also bitten by a friend's cat, which added to my medical complications and made recovery even more difficult. These health challenges have made it incredibly difficult for me to get back to teaching and performing, which has always been my passion and my way of connecting with the world.

Because of these conditions, I now need a vehicle that can accommodate a wheelchair, as well as help with titles and placards. I’m also struggling to cover living expenses for a handicap-accessible space and to pay off large hospital bills that have piled up during my treatment. These obstacles have made daily life a real challenge, but I am determined to keep moving forward and return to the music and teaching I love.

If you can, please share your warmth and support with me during this difficult time. Every bit of help means the world, and I promise to share my gratitude—and maybe even a song—in return. Thank you for considering a donation or sharing my story. Your kindness brings hope and comfort as I work toward recovery and independence.
