Just over a month ago, we adopted our sweet boy Jake from The New Pike County Humane Society, where he was known as Titan. From the very beginning, he has been a loyal and loving companion, but he is also facing serious mobility challenges.
Jake has been diagnosed with lateral patellar luxation (LPL), and he will be undergoing surgery to repair his knee. This procedure is not only critical for his immediate comfort—it will also help support the issues he faces with hip and elbow dysplasia, giving him a better chance at moving more freely and living without constant pain.
The New Pike County Humane Society has been incredibly supportive—they’ve given us permission to post this fundraiser on their page, and they even began collecting donations for Jake when they first rescued him. We are continuing their mission to give him the best possible chance at a pain-free life.
We are hoping to move forward with Jake’s procedure in early October, but the cost is significant ($7,300 on the low end). Any help—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—means the world to us and to Jake. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to easing his pain and giving him the happy, active life he deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Jake on his journey. ❤️
