However, the cost of purchasing a custom van tailored to Jake's needs is $175,000, a substantial expense for his family.

Jake requires a custom Toyota Sienna BraunAbility ramp van, modified to be wheelchair accessible with the driver's seat removed. The specialized controls necessary for Jake to drive include a joystick that will allow him to operate the vehicle's steering, gas, brakes, turn signals, wipers, and other functions. The vehicle itself costs between $75,000 and $80,000, with the control system adding a similar amount, plus taxes and fees. The joystick, an EMC ACVIT 2.0, is central to Jake's ability to drive.

This customized vehicle will enable Jake to travel safely and comfortably, allowing him to participate more fully in the community and pursue his dreams without the constant worry of transportation issues.
