Help Jake Beat Severe Perimyocarditis
Donation protected
Meet Jake Mahler, a 22-year-old self-employed North Carolinian who has been struck by a devastating cardiovascular disease. Jake is currently battling severe perimyocarditis, which is a condition that causes inflammation of the heart muscle, the sack around the heart, and causes fluid build up around the heart. This recent diagnosis has led to Jake being unable to work due to the high risk of heart failure with any physical activity.
After 4 days in the hospital due to a severe cardiovascular event and damage to his his heart, he was given a diagnosis and Jake’s cardiologist has ordered him to be on bed rest for a minimum of two weeks, and not work for a minimum of four weeks. Jake will be unable to engage in any and all physical activity, including working out, lifting more than 20 lbs., going to the store, walking his dog Ginger, or any other attenuators activity, for at least four months.
As you can imagine, this has left Jake feeling incredibly helpless and unable to provide for himself, a he lives alone. The cost of Jake’s medical bills and medication has already been overwhelming, and he has no way to cover his living expenses while he is unable to work.
This is where you come in. We are asking for your help in raising $15,000.00 to cover Jake's living expenses and a portion of his medical bills while he is unable to work.
Your donation will make a significant impact on Jake's life and help him get through this difficult time. Jake has always been a hardworking, determined young man who has a bright future ahead of him. He started his own company, Explicit Detail, at the age of 16 and has always been dedicated to his work, but unfortunately, his health has taken a turn for the worse.
Every dollar counts and will be greatly appreciated. We thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help Jake get back on his feet and live a healthy life once again.
We understand that not everyone can donate, but there are other ways you can help. You can share Jake’s story on social media, email it to your friends and family, or even start your own fundraiser to help Jake reach his goal and focus on healing.
We thank you for taking the time to read Jake’s story and consider donating to his cause. He is grateful for any support he receives and is eager to get back to work as soon as he is able.
