Help Jake and Niecey serve on our Mission Trip

Hello friend!

Niecey and I are beyond excited to get married, and our date in June is fast approaching! Unfortunately, not every loved one we have can be invited to our wedding due to capacity restrictions, but our wedding shower is open-invite! Please let me know if you'd like to attend and aren’t already invited.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us as newlyweds to serve and spread the Gospel in another country. Also, one of our good friends in our Campus Ministry is from Nassau, Bahamas, where we will serve! While we are there, we plan on serving the community and helping support a local church in the Bahamas! We will also share our faith with her friends and family, who live there!

The total cost of the trip is $2,400 for both of us. Niecey and I wouldn’t plan to serve this way if it was excessively out of our means. But, money is tight. We have already paid $1,200 total, but for both of us to be able to go, we must come up with an additional $1,200. Every dime will go directly to trip costs and costs associated with the trip to serve in this way. The $1,200 would include our flights, stay, meals, and other related expenses.

We knew the mission trip was around the date when planning our wedding. We planned intending to do our wedding, mission trip, and honeymoon. We both have worked vigorous hours, 30-40 hour weeks on top of Niecey's electrical schooling, Jake's full-time graduate school, campus ministry, pre-marital counseling, studying the bible with young people, Jake being in practicum and building a Swim Therapy program, and not to mention planning a wedding.

There comes a point where we can only do so much, even when working together. This is where we need your help.

If you can support us, every dime helps us, and we will be abundantly grateful. Could you think of this as our wedding gift? Our marriage is based on the foundation of sharing our faith and serving others, and what a great way to start our marriage; by serving those in need with our church family.
