We are reaching out to the community to help out our friend Jake Damiani who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. To say this escalated quickly would be an understatement. Jake went from running 5 miles a day and having one of the greatest days with his incredible fiancé Hunter, to being in the hospital and now receiving chemo. While we know Jake is strong, resilient and overall a badass, he is still going to need all of our help to get through this as well as hunter, who has been by his side the entire time. We are looking to raise as much money as possible to take the the financial burden off of him and his families shoulders. If you’ve met any of the Damiani’s you know that they are the kindest most supportive family ever and would do anything to help anyone and this is our chance to return the favor. We appreciate all the donations, prayers, and good vibes sent to Jake.

UPDATE!!!!

First and foremost the Damianis would like to thank everyone for every donation, every prayer, and every positive vibe sent their way. Nothing went unnoticed by this family and they are beyond grateful for the community of help they recieved. Jake proved exactly how strong he was and is officially in remission. But the fight is not even close to over yet! On September 19th he will be headed to the hospital to get an initial treatment of some intense chemo to prepare him for a Bone marrow transplant that he will be receiving from his incredible sister, Chelsea! (HUGE shoutout to chels!) He will be getting the transplant on September 25th and will be in the hospital for a month following this to monitor his immune system and ensure the transplant takes well. Once he is in the clear he will be moved to the UCLA hospital hotel for an additional 1-2 months. This fight isn’t over and will be the hardest part yet so let’s keep Jake and the family in our thoughts and send as much prayer and positive vibes as possible since he won’t be able to have visitors, food, or flowers/plants.
