HELP JAIRO TO GET HIS CANCER TREATMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

Hello, my name is Jessica and I am raising funds for cancer treatment for our uncle Jairo since he has always been self-employed and right now it is impossible for him to work, he has no savings and with my family it is impossible for us to afford all the expenses for his treatment.

We are appealing to the benevolence of our acquaintances, relatives and kind-hearted people to raise funds for his treatment.

This is the story...

On Monday July 15 we took our uncle Jairo Cardenas to the emergency room of a clinic in the city of Cartagena due to the following symptoms: severe pain in the head, mouth and neck, difficulty sleeping, eating and speaking due to a lump and sores on the tongue. On Tuesday 16th he had a CAT scan of the neck and thorax where two tumors could be seen, a large one on the tongue and a smaller one on the neck. That same day at night the ENT specialist told us that it was a CA and ordered a biopsy to confirm the stage of the tumor, the type of CA and to determine the appropriate treatment for him. On Wednesday the 17th he is sent to the clinic for hospitalization. It was not until Sunday the 21st after insisting with the clinic's auditor that he finally had the biopsy done and the results could take up to 20 days. On Monday the 22nd he is discharged and sent home without a medical prescription with painkillers to control the pain from home. Every day that passes is crucial and we see how my uncle is getting worse day by day. We can see how the tumor is growing more and more, he is bleeding a lot from his mouth, he cannot eat well, his diet is completely liquid and still it is very difficult for him to eat because he feels like he is choking, he has already lost 18kg of weight.

We as a family are very worried because the health system in Colombia is too delayed and negligent for everything, for this reason we wanted to start an alternative treatment to prevent the cancer from progressing while we wait for the results to come and therapies can be scheduled for his cure. These treatments are very expensive so we are turning to you to raise the money needed to help cover the medical expenses, medications, supplements and special food he needs. Hola, me llamo Jessica y estoy recaudando fondos para el tratamiento del cáncer de nuestro tío Jairo ya que él siempre ha trabajado de manera independiente y ahora mismo no puede trabajar, no tiene ahorros y con mi familia nos es imposible afrontar todos los gastos de su tratamiento.

Esta es la historia...

El lunes 15 de julio llevamos a nuestro tío Jairo Cárdenas a urgencias de una clínica de la ciudad de Cartagena debido a los siguientes síntomas: fuertes dolores en la cabeza, boca y cuello, dificultad para dormir, comer y hablar debido a un bulto y llagas en la lengua. El martes 16 se le realizó un TAC de cuello y tórax donde se apreciaban dos tumores, uno grande en la lengua y otro más pequeño en el cuello. Ese mismo día por la noche el otorrino nos dijo que era un CA y ordenó una biopsia para confirmar el estadío del tumor, el tipo de CA y determinar el tratamiento adecuado para él. El miércoles 17 es enviado a la clínica para su hospitalización. No fue hasta el domingo 21 después de insistir con el auditor de la clínica que finalmente le hicieron la biopsia y los resultados podrían tardar hasta 20 días. El lunes 22 es dado de alta y enviado a casa sin prescripción médica con analgésicos para controlar el dolor desde casa. Cada día que pasa es crucial y vemos como mi tío empeora día a día. Vemos como el tumor crece cada vez más, sangra mucho por la boca, no puede comer bien, su dieta es totalmente líquida y aún así le cuesta mucho comer porque siente que se atraganta, ya ha perdido 18kg de peso.

Nosotros como familia estamos muy preocupados porque el sistema de salud en Colombia es muy demorado y negligente para todo, por esta razón quisimos iniciar un tratamiento alternativo para evitar que el cáncer avance mientras esperamos que lleguen los resultados y se puedan programar las terapias para su curación. Estos tratamientos son muy caros por lo que nos dirigimos a ustedes para recaudar el dinero necesario para ayudar a cubrir los gastos médicos, medicamentos, suplementos y alimentación especial que él necesita.
