Life-Saving Cancer Fight for Jairo Villalba

                  This GoFundMe is for my brother Jairo Villalba. He is a loving father, husband, uncle, sibling, and one of the best men I have ever come to know. Jairo was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive Stage 3 Cancer, known as Multiple Myeloma. Because of how aggressive this form of cancer is, we are seeking any donations that might help with the medical expenses for his out-of-network care and experimental treatments. This condition has already spread to his bone tissue and started to seriously impair his cognitive function. Time is of the essence.

                   Jairo has been married for 38 years, a father of two boys, a brother to five siblings, and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is an active participant in the church community. His faith and kindhearted nature lead him to a career path where he helps individuals ranging from Children in need of specialty services to Women and Men’s health, as well as senior care. His day-to-day would entail him helping those too weak and sick to care for themselves. His career allowed him to touch the lives of so many people dealing with a host of medical issues ranging from Cancer, Heart, Vascular, Orthopedic, Maternity, Diabetes, etc. As a visiting Home Care member for a not-for-profit company, Jairo would help deliver and set up medical equipment, assistive respiratory devices, oxygen, and various respiratory therapies. He would educate and train patients, repair medical devices and help with the customization and accommodation of peripheral medical devices, such as wheelchairs, lifts, and home care beds. His current condition has abruptly forced him to give up the position he loves. PET scans revealed widespread damage to his bones, a fracture of his scapula, and two ribs. He has recently entered chemotherapy treatment in a first attempt to stop the spread, quell his pain and get him back to helping others. He is a champion in every sense of the word. A man who possesses an inexhaustible determination and devotion to a truly humanitarian cause. Most would describe him as a compassionate and loving soul, whose persona can be summed up in one word: selfless. He is a giant in his intellect and character. Good and gracious, always helping those in need and the less fortunate.

                  Jairo Villalba is just beginning his battle with Cancer. Costly and experimental treatments such as bone marrow transplants, stem cell therapy, and immunotherapy are most likely his only path to remission. The combination of these treatments could reach up to 900,000.00 per year. His inability to work and high cost of care can be eased with the help of loving and caring people such as you.
