Hello!

We are Catarina, Judith and David, and we're reaching out to seek your support to help three amazing kids to school! Meet Jairo, Irvin, and Fatima – the children of Teresa, a true embodiment of superwoman strength!

Having collaborated with Teresa and her children in a voluntary program, Judith, David, and I have witnessed the immense value this family holds. Teresa works as much as she can to provide for her kids as a single mom, but unfornately she lacks resources to be able to put her kids through school. We are eager to see them secure a better future, complete with the education they rightly deserve.

Jairo, an exceptionally bright young boy, made our teaching experiences truly enjoyable and enriching.

Irvin, naturally inclined towards sports, showcases incredible talent, while Fatima is yet to unveil her passions.

Teresa, their dedicated mother, has tirelessly worked throughout her life to provide for her children, demonstrating remarkable resilience.

Recent developments have forced them to resort to grinding coffee beans just to put food on the table, disrupting the children's education.

Fatima faces unique challenges related to hearing and speech, necessitating specialized education. Irvin attends a conventional school, and Jairo, the eldest, aspires to pursue a course in engineering.

This fundraising initiative aims to support the education of these three children. 1850 euros are needed to put them together through school for one year, after which we hopefully find a more sustainable solution for funding. By doing so, we hope to ease Teresa's burden and enable the children to focus on their studies without financial constraints.

Hoi!

Wij zijn Catarina, Judith en David en wij willen drie lieve kinderen in Guatemala helpen met iets wat heel vanzelfsprekend is voor ons: school! Dit om ze zicht te kunnen bieden op een écht betere toekomst.

Tijdens een vrijwilligersprogramma in Guatemala mochten wij samenwerken met Teresa, een ontzettend hardwerkende vrouw die alleenstaand voor haar drie kinderen moet zorgen. Door het ophouden van het vrijwilligersprogramma heeft zij nu geen baan meer en lukt het haar net om hen van onderdak en wat eten te voorzien met het geld dat ze verdient. Hiermee blijft er geen geld over voor de kinderen om naar school te kunnen, een van de weinige manieren om écht aan een betere toekomst te kunnen bouwen.

Jairo, Irvin en Fatima kregen ook les in het vrijwilligersprogramma en hebben wij mogen leren kennen als ontzettend leergierige en gemotiveerde kinderen. Maar helaas is school in Guatemala erg duur. Zo kost het voor hen drieën 1850 euro om ze één jaar naar school te laten gaan. Omdat school binnenkort start hopen wij dit bedrag met behulp van jullie bij elkaar te krijgen, en met iets meer tijd zullen we opzoek gaan naar meer duurzame manieren van funding voor haar kinderen voor de jaren die volgen.

Kortom: jouw hulp zou ontzettend gewaardeerd worden! Alle beetjes helpen, en delen mag natuurlijk ook altijd!!

A Teresa trabalha o mais que pode para sustentar os seus filhos como mãe solteira, mas infelizmente não tem recursos para os colocar na escola. Estamos ansiosos por vê-los garantir um futuro melhor, com a educação que merecem.

Jairo, um rapaz excecionalmente inteligente, tornou as nossas experiências de ensino verdadeiramente agradáveis e enriquecedoras.

O Irvin, naturalmente inclinado para o desporto, revela um talento incrível, enquanto a Fátima ainda não revelou as suas paixões.

Teresa, a sua mãe dedicada, trabalhou incansavelmente durante toda a sua vida para sustentar os seus filhos, demonstrando uma resiliência notável.

Os acontecimentos recentes obrigaram-nas a recorrer à moagem de grãos de café só para pôr comida na mesa, interrompendo a educação das crianças.

Fátima enfrenta desafios únicos relacionados com a audição e a fala, necessitando de educação especializada. Irvin frequenta uma escola convencional e Jairo, o mais velho, aspira a seguir um curso de engenharia.

Hoje estão a trabalhar na moagem de grãos de café apenas para pôr comida na mesa, interrompendo a educação das crianças.

Esta iniciativa de angariação de fundos tem como objetivo apoiar a educação destas três crianças. São necessários 1850 euros para os acompanhar na escola durante um ano, após o qual esperamos encontrar uma solução de financiamento mais sustentável. Desta forma, esperamos aliviar o fardo da Teresa e permitir que as crianças se concentrem nos seus estudos sem constrangimentos financeiros.
