Jair is a courageous and loving 8-year-old boy who has been through more than any child ever should. He suffered a horrific accident in Colorado, USA, where he was living with his mother. Due to neglect—his mother was struggling with addiction and left him home alone—Jair sustained third-degree burns on 18% of his body. Since then, he has undergone 11 surgeries and continues to fight with everything he has.

The injuries left him with severely limited mobility in both his arms and neck, but he hasn’t given up. His most recent surgery was a full-thickness skin graft to his neck, chest, and both armpits, aiming to help restore movement and improve his quality of life.

Right now, Jair needs continued treatment in Colorado. But beyond that, he needs stability, legal protection, and the loving presence of family. His father, who lives in London, is doing everything in his power to be by his side. He’s also working toward eventually bringing Jair to London, where he can receive ongoing care and build a new life in a safer and more supportive environment.

However, the cost of legal support, immigration assistance, travel, and medical-related expenses is overwhelming. That’s why we’re asking for your help.
