My name is Nubia Vega, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. My husband, Jaime Martine, has recently been detained by immigration, and our family is facing sudden emotional and financial hardship.
On Wednesday December 24th, Christmas Eve, my husband was driving to work when a car hit him from behind, he called the police to report the situation but since he didn't have a valid ID the cop called ICE and took him.
Jaime is a loving husband and a devoted father/partner/provider. He has always worked hard to support our family. His detention came unexpectedly and has turned our lives upside down.
