As some of you know, but many do not, Jaime has two rare cancers in his body at once. In the beginning of May, after recovering from covid. His job sent him to the urgent care for a check up to return to work. His blood pressure was high, so they sent him to the emergency room. There, they did extensive testing and found a mass in his chest and a mass on his adrenal gland. After a biopsy of the chest the diagnosis was a germ cell tumor. He was in the hospital for a week and planned on returning to work, however, was let go because of his health issues. Due to this, he lost his health insurance and had to delay receiving any treatment or tests waiting for the state insurance to process. At the beginning of this week, he went to the hospital for his PET Scan. He then received the diagnosis of Pheochromocytoma which is another rare Cancer. Jaime has a long road of recovery in front of him. As of right now they are monitoring his blood pressure for his adrenal mass to be removed. It is a good chance for recovery but the operation is a high risk. After the syrgery, he will wait for a full recovery until he starts his aggressive Chemo for the cancer in his chest. This will consist of 5 days a week for 8 hours each day. Thereafter, 3 days a week at 4 hours a day for 11 weeks. He is unable to work and is not eligible for unemployment. Jaime is a very private and proud man, but he is really in need of some help. Any little amount will help. He has bills and transportation expenses that he needs help with. I want to thank everyone who helps in advance. He is a proud and loving father of 3 kids. Joxadiel 17, Juelz 15, and Yesenia 8. He enjoys grilling, camping, swimming, intellectual conversation, pretty much all the Simple Pleasures of life. He also enjoys bowling, playing pool, shooting darts, watching the Cleveland Indians, and getting together with family for cookouts or just to hang. He is very witty and has a great sense of humor. He's one of those kind of guys that can fit into any crowd. He is easy going and a caring man. His work ethic is very strong and reflects his fight during this battle. With all this being said, he is in great spirits and has a positive attitude about the situation. There is a comment section here that I encourage everyone to leave a message so that I can read them to him as he is battling this. We also ask that you say a prayer for him in this time of need. We are hopeful that his faith and God will help carry him through this difficult time along with everyone's support.
