Hello friends, my name is Kellie, and I am raising funds for our dear family friend, Jaime. Jaime is 48 years old, profoundly disabled with cerebral palsy, and has been cared for by her older sister for the past nine years. On December 10th, Jaime suffered a stroke and is now experiencing multiple seizures daily, requiring ongoing hospitalization and intensive care.

Jaime’s safe return home depends on having a ceiling lift system with a ceiling track, as a standard Hoyer lift is not medically advised for her situation. Unfortunately, this equipment is not covered by insurance, and the California Regional Center currently has a wait time of at least a year. The only way Jaime can return home safely and in a timely manner is by purchasing and installing the lift system privately.

Funds raised will be used to purchase the medically recommended ceiling lift and track system, cover professional installation to meet safety requirements, and provide any necessary accessories or modifications.
