Recientemente, de una manera inesperada el dueño de la casa donde alquilaba una habitación le dio tres días para desalojar el humilde espacio y esto obligó a Jaika a aceptar un trabajo que a cambio de una habitación para ella y sus cuatro hijos y un salario del salario mínimo de Perú, tiene que trabajar en un hotel 24 horas. Tiene que limpiar, cocinar y atiender a los huéspedes. Para que ustedes se hagan una idea, ella es la única trabajadora del hospedaje.

Jaika lucha por hacer todo esto mientras cuida de sus cuatro hijitos que actualmente tienen 10, 8, 6 y 2 añitos.

Jaika es una madre valiente, trabajadora, luchadora y tan amorosa que su situación nos tiene con el corazón derretido.

Aunque ella se esfuerza por llevarlo todo adelante, este ritmo de vida le está haciendo daño y también a sus cuatro hijitos. El deseo más sincero de Jaika es volver a tener tiempo para dedicárselo a Jehová.

La idea de sus amigos es comprar un carrito de comida para que ella pueda ganarse la vida por su cuenta ya que ella es una excelente cocinera. Como las posibilidades de trabajo justo y flexible son pocas, tener este carrito la ayudaría a salir adelante y volver a tener tiempo para cuidar de sus hijos (Deut. 6:6, 7) y seguir acercándose a nuestro Dios Jehová.

Su generosidad le permitiría comprar el carrito de comida y pagar dos meses de un alquiler y un depósito mientras establece su clientela.

Jaika is 42-year-old woman who works tirelessly to care for her four children - who when I met her in 2023 were eight years old, six years old, four years old and just three months old.

Recently and unexpectedly, the owner of the small room that she rented for herself and her children asked that they leave in a matter of three days. This desperate situation forced her to leave her former employment and accept a job at a hostel with long hours, in exchange for a small room and a small salary which requires her to be on call 24 hours a day.

To give you an idea of her working conditions, she is the ONLY employee at the hostel and is responsible for cooking, cleaning, and attending to the guests all while caring for her four children who are now 10, 8, 6, and 2 years old.

Jaika is such a brave, hardworking, tenacious, and most importantly loving mother and person, that seeing her precarious situation breaks our hearts.

Although she does everything within her power to keep her family going, this pace of life is not sustainable for her or her four children. Her most sincere desire is to devote more time to her children and continue to draw close to our God, Jehovah.

Our idea as her friends is to buy a small food cart that will enable her to make a living for her and her children. Since the opportunities for fair and flexible jobs are extremely limited, this food cart will help her provide for their needs both physically and spiritually. (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7)

Your generosity will permit her to purchase a food cart, put down a deposit on an apartment, and pay two months' rent while she establishes her clientele.
