On April 4th of this year, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job. Since then, I’ve been applying to several companies, but the job market in my area is not the best. While I wait for my unemployment benefits to start, I’m driving for Uber Eats to help pay my bills. It’s been a challenging time, and I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet.

One of my biggest struggles right now is affording my medication, which is very expensive without insurance, since I no longer have coverage. This medication is essential for managing pre-diabetic and heart disease conditions. I also need help with groceries as I work to get through this period. I don’t expect anyone to cover all my expenses, but any help towards my medication and groceries would mean the world to me.
