As most of you already know, my daughter Jaidyn was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy at the age of 2 years old. It’s been a long journey trying to find a solution for her condition. We’ve tried every medication possible, we’ve seen multiple neurologists throughout Texas and Oklahoma, but so far, nothing has helped.

We went to see a new epileptologist in OKC and they gave us hope that we’ve never had before. They told us that Jaidyn is the perfect candidate for a VNS implant surgery. Her surgery is now scheduled for November 25th.

However, due to my income, she doesn’t qualify for Medicaid, so I’ve been paying for most of her medical expenses myself. She’s on my insurance through my company, but we all know it can be financially difficult for copays, multiple medications, travel expenses for appointments, and the time I’m missing from work.

This kills my pride to ask for help, but I’ve come to realize... this is for her, not me. So if you can donate, we would appreciate it so much! If you’re not able to right now, just please pray for my girl and let’s hope that this surgery gives her the life that she deserves!
