Jaidyn Adams and Aidan Henderson are both 20-year-old college students attending Kansas Wesleyan University. They share an apartment together, along with their beloved dog and two bunnies. As their friend, I have seen firsthand how hard they work to balance school, work, and caring for their pets while building a life together away from home.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, tragedy struck when their apartment caught fire. In a matter of moments, Jaidyn and Aidan lost almost all of their belongings and were left with nothing. The fire not only destroyed their furniture and essentials, but also took away the sense of security and comfort they had worked so hard to create. Thankfully, everyone—including their pets—made it out safely, but the road ahead is daunting.

I am reaching out on their behalf to ask for your support. The funds raised will go directly toward helping Jaidyn and Aidan replace the essentials and furniture they need to start over.
