Help Jaide Dains Graduate from UCSC!

Hi, my name is Jaide, and I'm fundraising to ensure that I can attend my last year of college and graduate in four years at UCSC!

I am a first-generation college student! Due to Covid 19, my first two and a half years were online, but I continued to work hard to pay off my first year by myself. My third year of college was the first time I had in-person lectures! I want to graduate and experience my last year of college, but I can't afford to attend.

I need to ensure I complete and pass my three online summer classes while making money to support myself for the summer and next year. I work 35-40 hours a week and have 30-plus hours of school work. Since school is my priority, I need to move to part-time hours at work hence, not meeting my usual summer budget for next school year.

I linked my video, where I have displayed the expenses I am covering and what I need. If I raise $4000 for my college housing, I only need to work 30 hours a week to make my summer goal. Working 30 hours versus 42 hours a week gives me time to ensure I complete and pass my summer classes (full-time student). Therefore, helping me attend/experience my last year, graduate in four years, and make me and my family proud!
