I have dedicated my life to caring for others, working with the elderly in hospitals, private care, and hospice since high school. My passion for helping those who cannot care for themselves led me to earn a BS in Biology and now to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. I am currently one month into an accelerated nursing program that will allow me to graduate by December 2026. This journey is both exciting and challenging, and I am determined to see it through.

Balancing school and life as a single parent has not been easy. My four-year-old son is my world, and my mother has been my rock—sacrificing her time and even her car to help us get to daycare and school while my own car is in the shop. Despite working hard, my income only covers our basic bills, leaving nothing extra for tuition. I have exhausted all other options for financial support, and the balance of my tuition is due by December 1, 2025. Without this support, I risk having to pause my studies and delay my dream.

Completing this program will open doors for me to pursue my BSN, which the program will help fund after a year of work. My ultimate goal is to become a traveling nurse, providing for my son and securing his future. This fundraiser is my last hope to stay on track and achieve the career I have dreamed of since high school. Any support will make a real difference for both me and my son as we work toward a brighter future.
