As some of you may know my niece Jahzara is currently hospitalized. I wanted to share a little bit about the situation and how some of you may be able to help. On 11/3/2024 Jahzara began to have seizures. Once they arrived to the hospital, they worked quickly to give her medication to stop them. Unfortunately, they have not been able to find the correct medication cocktail to stop her seizures. We are also no where closer to having a diagnosis. Since being admitted to the pediatric ICU they have done a MRI, CT, Spinal tap and multiple different blood and urine cultures. On 11/6/2024 they tried a new medication that has helped calm the seizures down. However, she is still having roughly 6 in a 24 hour period. At the moment, we do not know when she will be stable enough to discharge. Jahzara is currently admitted in a hospital that is 3 hours away from where they live. This has caused a huge financial strain on my sisters family. Times are hard for everyone right now, but we are asking for any donations to help ease the burden of this tragic situation my sister and her family are currently in. Please pray for Jahzara.
