Help Jagroop Singh Gill Return Home from hospital
Donation protected
Jagroop Singh Gill from Moga, the father of Vickramjit Gill, has been living with his family in Winnipeg for over a year. Despite having no major illnesses except high blood pressure, Mr. Gill suffered a sudden stroke on June 14, 2024, and was taken to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After initially stabilizing, he had a silent stroke the next day, leading to ICU admission and a minor surgery. Unfortunately, his brain damage is severe, and recovery is expected to take more than 5-6 months to regain 50% of normal function. The ICU costs are 17,000 CAD per day, and Mr. Gill has been in the ICU for over 12 days. Doctors recommend transferring him to India via air ambulance for his recovery, costing 125,000 CAD upfront. His insurance has already exceeded 150,000 CAD. We urgently seek public assistance to raise funds for his air ambulance and ongoing medical care. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated. I, Jarnail Singh, a friend of Vicky Gill, will be contributing funds to help pay their hospital bills and will transfer money to Vickramjit Singh Gill and he will pay the remaining balance to the hospital.
Sincerely, Vickramjit Gill and Family
