Hi everyone,

Your brother from another mother Jag has fallen on some extremely hard times in his journey through life. Some of you may have heard, but on January 20th, Jag went to the emergency room as he was having some difficulty breathing. It was after some persistence on his end that he was given a CT scan that revealed that it was in fact a very large mass growing inside of his left Kidney.  It had also spread significantly to his lungs. It has been a scary, uncertain,   and stressful few weeks as he has undergone a biopsy and further testing to determine that he indeed has stage 4 kidney cancer. Along with this cruel and scary diagnosis comes the general uncertainty of cancer and its course of treatment. On top of that, our dear friend was also let go from his job back in August of 2025. Having been on unemployment for the past 7 months he is faced with immense pressure to try to pay his bills and mortgage along with his every day expenses. It is our hope that this go fund me will help him to alleviate any stress so that Jag can put all of his energy and focus on beating this damn thing. Anyone who has had the opportunity to get to meet and know Jag has been blessed with a true friend. I know he has lifted so many with his unwavering positivity, his loyalty, his ability to see the humour in any situation and his natural joix de vie (upbeat nature). He has always helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel so if anyone can give any support or even just share this post so it can reach as many people as possible. It would be amazing for him to see how loved and cared for he is while he focuses on his treatment because we all know that when Jag is focused there’s nothing he can’t overcome.
