Help Jaela Walk Again: Support Her Stem Cell Treatment Journey
On March 16, 2025, Jaela Sydney-Lynn Harrison’s life was forever changed. At just 18 years old, only three days after completing a law enforcement workshop with the Country Club Hills Police Department, Jaela was the victim of a senseless act of violence. She was attacked and shot in the back by a former classmate, leaving her with a T-11 spinal cord fracture and a prognosis of paraplegia.
Jaela is a recent high school graduate who loves music, fashion, traveling, trying new foods, and outdoor adventures like fishing and camping. She proudly played trombone and tuba in her school marching band, filling her community with joy through her music. Despite her injury, Jaela’s faith in Almighty God remains unshaken, and her determination to walk again fuels her recovery.
Jaela has already made incredible progress on her rehabilitation journey, but advanced treatment options like stem cell therapy, electrical stimulation bikes, and neuromuscular retraining are critical to maximizing her recovery. Unfortunately, these life-changing treatments come at a steep cost not covered by insurance.
Your support will help cover:
An electrical stimulation (E-stim) bike ($10,000+)
Travel and lodging expenses for specialized stem cell treatment
Additional neuromuscular retraining beyond insurance coverage
Every donation—big or small—brings Jaela closer to reclaiming her independence and achieving what doctors said would be impossible. With your generosity, prayers, and encouragement, we believe Jaela’s story will be one of strength, healing, and miracles.
Please help Jaela continue her fight to walk again by donating to her medical fund and sharing her story.
