She Was Shot at 18-Now She's Determined to Walk Again!
On March 16, 2025 Jaela Sydney-Lynn Harrison's life was changed forever.
At just 18 years old, days after celebrating milestones toward her future, Jaela became the victim of senseless act of violence. She was shot in the back by a former classmate, leaving her with a sever spinal cord injury and a diagnosis of paraplegia.
In an instant, her world and her family's, was turned upside down.
But Jaela is fighting.
Known for her vibrant spitit and love for music, adventure, and life, she has already made incredible progress in rehabilitation. Now, her greatest goal is simple yet powerful.
She wants the chance to walk again.
Reaching that goal requires a spinal surgery out state, advance treatments such as electrical stimulation, and critical care that insurance will not cover.
The financial burden is overwhelming, but this is where compassion can chage everthing.
Your donation will help provide:
. Travel cost for surgery in New York
. Intensive neuromuscular retraining
. electrical stem bike ($10,000)
Every contribution-no matter the amount- brings Jaela closer to independance, healing, and hope.
If you are unable to give, sharing her story can be just as powerful. One share could reach the person who helps change the trajectory of her recovery.
