I’m writing this to ask for a little help for two of the most important members of our family: our dog, Jaeger, and our cat, Ember. We are currently hitting a rough patch financially, and unfortunately, both of our pets are suffering from a severe flea infestation that has gotten out of control. It’s reached the point where over-the-counter remedies aren't working, and they are in constant discomfort. It breaks my heart to see them scratching and in pain when I can't afford the immediate vet treatment they need to stop it.

Jaeger is our White Shepherd and the first dog we’ve raised since he was a puppy. He is the most loving, playful boy who lives for the snow, finding the perfect stick, and playing tug-of-war. Ember is the sweetest, most patient cat I’ve ever known. Despite living in a house with rowdy boys and a growing puppy, she has never been mean. She is gentle and loving—when I pet her, she looks at me with such trust and intense love, and I want to do right by her.

We are raising funds to cover veterinary exams for both pets to check for skin infections, prescription-strength flea treatment (which is safer and actually works), and medication to help heal their skin. We just want to get our babies back to being happy, comfortable, and itch-free. Thank you so much for reading and sharing.
