Help Jaecob Recover from a Life-Changing Traumatic Brain Injury
On January 7th, 2026, our beloved Jaecob’s life was forever changed in an instant. While driving, he was hit head-on by a woman who was high on drugs. The impact caused a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) that has left him fighting for every step of recovery. Jaecob remains in serious condition. He is still dependent on a tracheostomy for breathing, requires 24/7 medical care, and will need lifelong support. The road ahead is long and incredibly expensive, but this young man has already shown us the true meaning of strength. Despite everything, Jaecob has made huge progress — relearning how to communicate, move, and fight every single day. At the end of March, his family will be transferring him to the world-renowned Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago — one of the best rehabilitation hospitals in the country for brain and spinal cord injuries. This move is critical for him to receive the specialized therapy he desperately needs, but the costs for his care, travel, housing near the hospital, and ongoing medical expenses are overwhelming. Every donation — no matter the amount — will directly help cover:
• His stay and intensive therapy at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab
• Medical equipment and supplies
• Travel and lodging for his family so they can be by his side
• Long-term care needs he will face for the rest of his life
Jaecob is a fighter with an incredible spirit. With your help, we can give him the absolute best chance to achieve every bit of recovery and success he possibly can. He has so much life left to live, and we refuse to let this tragedy define his future. Please consider donating anything you can and sharing this page with your friends and family. Even $5 or a simple share means the world to us. Together, we can help bring Jaecob home stronger and give him the future he deserves. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
Every prayer, every share, and every dollar is lifting Jaecob up when he needs it most. #JaecobsJourney
