My name is Jae, and I am a single mother facing stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. This diagnosis has changed every part of my life. I’ve tried to find help through cancer foundations, but since I received support during my first battle with cancer, I no longer qualify for assistance. Every day, I worry about keeping up with bills, rent, and utilities, while also trying to provide for my daughter. She needs clothes, school supplies, groceries, and the chance to participate in activities that bring her joy and a sense of normalcy.
