I am Mollie Underwood, Jae's partner. I am fundraising for Jae Daaboul, who got beaten and robbed on June 8 2023. These funds will go directly towards recouping lost possessions.

After work late Wednesday night (Thursday morning), Jae was waiting for his food at a drive-thru near his home when 3 teenagers got into his car to steal his backpack and wallet. He tried to fight them off, and then tried to drive away, crashing his vehicle. Jae was left with a head laceration, injured ear, hand and knees, and a black eye. Although we are extremely grateful the CT scan showed no brain damage, there will still be time needed to both physically and emotionally recover from this incident. Jae's laptop was inside his backpack, and his Camry was totaled, with no collision included in his insurance. We are asking for funds to replace his laptop, and provide him with something to purchase a used car to get safely to and from work. We realize times are tough for anyone, so even an encouraging text to him is enough, or any small amount you can donate. Taking time off of work due to his injuries has caused stress as well as lack of income. As his friends and family all we want for Jae is to have a peaceful time of healing and a smooth transition back to normal daily life. Thank you for reading and sharing.
