Hi everyone, I'm Jadon Street, a sophomore at DeMatha Catholic High School. I'm incredibly excited about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a trip to China with my Honors Mandarin class this June! As a second-year Mandarin student, this class is one of my absolute favorites, and this trip will be an amazing chance to immerse myself in the language and culture I've been studying. We'll have so many incredible experiences, from visiting the Great Wall, exploring ancient temples, practicing calligraphy to experiencing daily life in Beijing, Xi'an, Chongqing and Chengdu, learning from local artisans, trying authentic regional cuisine. This trip is a significant investment, costing about $5,000, and I'm working hard to raise the necessary funds. Any contribution you can make, big or small, will help me get closer to this goal and make this dream a reality.
