Help Jade's Family

It saddens me deeply to have to post this update on Jade who is now 9. Many of you have followed her journey from 2021. Alot has happen to Jade since that time. Jade has had more trips that we can count to Children's hospital. The tumor that was at the stem of the brain continued to grow so the docs gave a couple of choices, None of them were an easy choice, even though the tumor was not cancerous they had to find a way to shrink it and they chose the Chemo pill. It was shrinking it but it did stop it from growing more. They decided since it was keeping it from growing more they would keep her on it for amount of time. This has also caused her to have many other health issues and her kidneys are suffering badly. Jade did get her "Make a Wish Dream" this summer and her entire family got to go to Disney World and had the best time, we are thankful to Make a Wish for making that happen. Jade had returned to school with a full time nurse with her at all times and did well but often had to take naps during her school days as she was tired from the chemo. Its been touch and go several times with Jade as she was still at times having problems with the seizures, holding her breath, and even times where Christina and Ricky had to bag her to get her breathing again. Tonight on November 19th, 2023 Jade unexpectedly had a episode. We are not sure how long she was down, 3-9 minutes or so. She was cleaning her room and when Christina went in to help her she was not breathing. Christina immediately bagged her and did everything they were taught to do in these situations and 911 was called. When the medics arrived they continued doing CPR and shocked her but could not get her back, she was rushed to Children's hospital in critical condition and is now on life support. She had a CT scan around 5 pm tonight and it showed severe inflammation to her brain. She is showing no signs of brain activity as of right now. They will re-evaluate tomorrow but things are not looking good. Jade is full of spunk and was her normal self earlier today and now is on life support. Ricky and Christina are at the hospital and have no plans of leaving. This is where it gets hard, they are going to desperately need all the help with all of the upcoming expenses they will have. I will update tomorrow but we are not expecting good news. If you can please help out with expenses for Jade, upcoming expenses for Ricky and Christina and not to mention we are going into the holidays. Please feel free to respond if you have questions and I will do my best to answer them.
