On Thursday, May 29th, I was an innocent bystander caught in the middle of a shooting at Harry Todd Lake. My name is Jaden, and I am 19 years old and was attempting to have a fun day in the sun getting ice cream. When I noticed things got heated in that moment, I acted on instinct and pushed two women out of harm’s way to protect them. Unfortunately, I was shot in the arm and am now facing a long and painful recovery. The medical bills are overwhelming, and I’m reaching out for help to cover the costs of surgery, treatment, and physical therapy. Any support — no matter how small — means the world to me.
