On the night of November 23rd, 21-year-old Jaden Garcia’s life was forever changed in an instant. Just hours earlier, she had been enjoying a night out with friends at the Dreamstate rave in Long Beach, CA. But as she was crossing the street with her bestfriend Jonathan on their way home, disaster struck.

While crossing at the intersection of N Golden Ave and W Ocean Blvd in Long Beach, Jaden was struck by a speeding car that ran a red light. The impact was so severe that Jaden was thrown 40 feet across the intersection. She landed unconscious, suffering severe injuries to her right knee, including a broken fibula and other fractures.

She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed the extent of her injuries. Jaden faces months of surgeries, rehabilitation, and a long recovery ahead. She will be unable to walk, work, or care for herself as she heals, and the emotional toll of this traumatic event is immeasurable.

This all happened just one week before her 22nd birthday, a time she had been eagerly anticipating to celebrate with friends and loved ones. Instead, she now faces a painful and uncertain future. What should have been a time of joy has turned into an overwhelming struggle for survival and healing.
