This isn’t a sad story, it’s a story about Hope. It’s a story about a 18-year-old boy whose great attitude is carrying him through something so scary that most adults would have a hard time facing it. It’s a story about a large, loving family who loves this child more than anything and wants to see him get well soon.
Mom is a hard worker, a dedicated mom, and a go-getter. When her son Jaden was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, she never hesitated to get him all the help she could. Dad is a brave member of our law-enforcement community. While he works to protect our community, he helps his son fight this awful disease. He would give his all to change the situation, and he tries to help anyway that he can. But help doesn’t come cheap and it doesn’t come easy. For Jaden this means long drives from Cheyenne Wyoming to Denver to get the care he needs to beat this scary cancer. It means mom’s missing days from work, it means that there a days dad can’t do his job, and it means that Jaden will finish his senior year in a very different kind of gown.
Can you spare a few dollars to help this family as Jaden takes on cancer? The family isn’t asking for anything, it is me asking you to help me help them. It is me asking you to imagine how you would feel if your child was in the same situation, and how much a little extra cash could come in handy. It is me asking you to show some compassion and love to a child you’ve never met, or maybe you have, and a mom And dad that are working through the worst possible scenario that could be presented to a parent. Please give, whether you can give a lot or just a little, every bit will help. Thank you, Laura
