Jadee has struggled with severe chronic migraines for 12 years with no relief following an ATV accident in 2014.
When the attacks come on, they come on hard and are debilitating. Her cognition, speech and vision become impaired and one side of her body becomes numb and weak. This can’t simply be treated at home. Every attack results in a ER visit. She has been hospitalized three times in four months to manage the pain and symptoms.
She’s been to 4 neurologists and gone through numerous treatments such as monthly injections, infusions, botox, a cefaly device, cupping therapy and an uncountable list of other medications.
Anyone that knows Jadee, knows she loves traveling, attending concerts, girls’ nights and going to outdoor vendor fairs. What people don’t see is the anxiety and depression that comes from being in constant pain.
The funds raised will be used for medical bills and ongoing treatments. She currently is traveling to Omaha for neurology appointments and has started seeing an upper cervical specialist in Sioux Falls. This new treatment plan requires weekly visits for 8 weeks making her miss work, accumulating more medical debt, along with costs of gas.
