My daughter Jade lost her home of 9 years in Waialua, along with her car, and almost all of her belongings due to severe flooding that rose 3–4 feet in less than 20 minutes. This happened in the middle of the night, and she and her kitty, Puma, were rescued and taken on surfboards to safety at 3am by local heroes. The Kona Low Storm has devastated the North Shore of Oahu and caused historic flooding throughout Oahu and other islands, changing our lives overnight.

I am doing everything I can to support her, but I simply don’t have the financial means to replace all that was lost or help her restart on my own. We are still waiting to see if car insurance will cover anything, but that process will take time and she has a loan and deductible. Rental insurance doesn't cover flooding in Hawaii. Her workplace has also flooded and closed, so her income is impacted as well.

We are humbly asking for donations that will be used for urgent needs - basic necessities, housing, furniture, replacing her car and other belongings, and getting back on her feet during this incredibly difficult time.
