Help Jade Represent Canada: 2025 World Tap Championships

Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to join Team Canada Dance for the 2025 IDO World Tap Championship in Prague, Czech Republic this October. I’ll be competing in the Adult Formation and Small Group categories, performing alongside some of Canada’s best tap dancers against elite teams from around the globe.

I’ve been dancing since I was 7 years old, and tap dance has been one of my biggest passions for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, because dance is not recognized as a sport in Canada, there’s no national funding—meaning each dancer must personally cover all costs to train, travel, and compete.

To make my first year on Team Canada possible, it costs ~$4,000 to cover essential expenses, including:
