My name is Jillian Fernandez, and I am fundraising for my cousin Jade.

On April 6, 2021, Jade’s apartment complex in Queens, New York burned down.

Though Jade is one of the strongest women I know, she is completely and utterly devastated. In addition to losing everything she has ever owned—including her father’s possessions who was her best friend and passed away from cancer—her two beloved cats were killed in the blaze.

Jade has been through more than anyone should in her life. However, she has always persisted, no matter what challenge faced her. This time is different, though. Jade truly needs help rebuilding her life and repairing the damage and torment from this fire.
